Located just south of Kenya in East Africa, Tanzania is one of the most popular travel destinations in Africa. But why might this be?
Why Tanzania is the Best Travel Destination in Africa
Well, Serengeti National Park is the most famous NP in the world. However, there is also the opportunity to climb Kilimanjaro – the highest mountain in Africa. And as if that’s not enough, you have the white powdered sands of Zanzibar on the coast.
For this reason, you can go on safari, take an epic outdoor adventure and then unwind on the beach during the same vacation. Now, that’s not to say you might want to do all three but rather to point out the variety of experiences in Tanzania.
I should also say that Serengeti National Park is my favourite safari region in Africa. Also, Ngoronogro Crater is a magnificent sight and an ancient caldera filled with wildlife. You actually drive down into this crater at sunrise and lion, hyena, elephant and friends are all there to see.
Anyway, that’s it, my pick for the best travel destination in Africa.
